A startling new vision of paranormal romance: When a human ventures into the world of vampires—a decadent milieu of blood-bonds and betrayal—she discovers that not all is what it seems. For Reyna Carpenter, giving up her body isn’t a choice. It’s survival. In a civilization laid waste by poverty and desperation, Reyna accepts a high-paying position with the wealthy and hungry vampire elite. Her new job is as the live-in blood escort for the intimidating, demanding, and devilishly handsome Beckham Anderson. He’s everything she expected from a vampire, except for one thing—he won’t feed off her. Reyna soon discovers that behind Beckham’s brooding, wicked façade lies a unique and complex man. And that, in a dark and divided world, she is more valuable than she ever would have believed. For with each passing night, Reyna can’t shake the sensation that it’s Beckham who’s afraid of her. My Review

OH MY GOODNESS!! YOU GUYSSSS! This book was AMAAAAAAAAZING! I can't express just how much I loved it! K.A. Linde kept me enraptured and unable to put this book down. Seriously. I read until 1:30 in the morning ... on a work night! I was 1000% invested and the chemistry between Rayna and Beckham was so delicious. I enjoyed the push and pull between them.  Both were strong characters and she didn't let anyone walk all over her.  I loved her inquisitiveness and her strong will.  Beckham was all male and he didn't want to give into her. The attraction was strong between them and there was so much happening that Rayna didn't know. I enjoyed the way things were revealed bit-by-bit and I found myself holding my breath, waiting to see what was going to happen next! I'm going to die before I get Blood Match in June, but totally worth it!  What's that you say? You don't care for vampire stories? Well, I beg you to give this one a chance because I think this author will have you thinking otherwise!

EXCERPT

That was the moment Beckham appeared in the doorway like a storm cloud.
Reyna straightened in her seat at the expression on his face. He walked across the room like a tightly coiled spring ready to explode.
“Ah Beckham, there you are,” Harrington said.
“Excuse me, William. I need to speak with Reyna. Alone.”
She hastened out of her seat and followed him around the corner. He tugged her straight through the kitchens, out the back door, down a corridor, and into a dead end. Then her back was slammed against the brick wall. His fist connected with the wall behind her, and she felt the wall shudder. Debris floated onto her shoulders.
“You left,” he growled.
“I . . .”
“No.” He pressed his finger to her lips roughly. She stopped breathing and just stared up into his eyes as dark as night. Her body trembled under the feral stare. “You left without me.”
The silence was weighted. All she could do was sit with their bodies nearly touching. His finger on her mouth. Her mind wandering to hellacious places.
“You are my subject. Can you imagine what it was like when I found you missing? When you turned up with three of my kind?” She shook her head minutely. He bared his teeth to her, and she shrank back. “These are meant to drink your blood. To drink you dry until there is nothing left of your body but a dry corpse. We are killers. We don’t hesitate. Just because we’re wearing suits and seem more like you . . . does not mean we are like you. We are not like you. They especially are not like you. The only way you get to the top of Visage is to be fucking ruthless, Reyna. Do you understand?” “You’re . . . scaring me,” she whispered.
 “Good.”

Exclusive Excerpt:

I was married to the most beautiful girl in the world, inside and out. We made it through basic training and a couple of specialized training schools, despite the time apart. I knew she was with me for the long haul. When we moved away from Texas and on to the next round of training, she never looked back. She squeezed my hand and told me as long as she had me and I had her everything would fall into place. It was always our thing. Maddie squeezing my hand or me squeezing hers. That unsaid reassurance both of us needed from time to time. When I was away from her, I of course missed her body—which she so graciously made sure I had plenty of pictures of—Thank you internet!—but I missed the way she squeezed my hand when I felt like I was struggling. I missed the way her eyes twinkled and turned super green when she saw me walking toward her. I missed the way her eyes turned dark green, almost brown when she was angry, and even how they turned blue when she was sad. I missed that gold ring she would get around her pupils on the “hazel days” as we called them. So yeah, I missed fucking her. But I also just missed her, and it was something not many of the guys understood.   The Pipeline, a seemingly endless chain of classes and schools across the country that I had to take over the next two years were easy in terms of our relationship, but hard as hell in terms of finishing each step and getting to the next. Maddie was able to be with me most of the time, and we got family housing. I felt like I was taking care of her while I was training. She kept writing. I didn’t want her to, at least not for money. I wanted her to write for fun. I swear she wrote all the time...unless she was watching those dumbass shows that make trauma medicine look like a joke. But she wrote a lot. Mostly random pieces in small online publications, but she said it gave her a sense of having something to do, and I couldn’t argue with that logic. It felt good to take care of my girl, though. So, I was always a bit torn but didn’t want to be that dude who looked like an asshole by telling his wife not to work. Growing up definitely wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.   There was a lot riding on my success in the PJ program. Maddie and I were kind of living school to school for a few months. If I failed, I’d be out and back to trying to decide what I wanted to do in the service. I wasn’t the only one who’d be starting all over again. We both would be. And, because I’m stubborn, I’d try to be a PJ again. I would’ve kept training and trying. I wanted to be a PJ more than anything in my life. For the first time, I knew my purpose was to love my wife and save people’s lives. Maddie tried to take a break from school for me while we spent a little over a year in New Mexico where I finished my Pararescue EMT/Paramedic and my Recovery Specialist courses. I wouldn’t let her though. I mean, she could’ve told me no. Maddie had no qualms about being independent. She was really cute, always thinking she would get her way. She ended up enrolling in school for two semesters in New Mexico. I still claim that as a point in the win column, even though it was only a couple of semesters. After that, they shipped us off to a new base in Arizona. I never thought I’d call Arizona home. But it sure as fuck beat that humid shit I was so used to in Louisiana. Maddie reenrolled in college while we settled in, and I continued my training with my unit for an eventual deployment. I was officially a PJ, and Arizona was home, for now. I had my wife. I had my passion. I was pretty fucking happy. It did scare me how badly I wanted to see some action overseas, though, and it outright terrified Mads.   It felt like years, but sooner rather than later, I was able to use my hard training. I was going to be more than a new recruit. I was going to do more than just train. I was going to implement skills very few people could.   I was going to war.   My first deployment was really hard on everyone. Myself included. Maddie was about to graduate college and there was nothing I could do to stop my deployment. In the military, you don’t get to call the shots. I wanted to be there for her. I wanted to be there to hug her, to celebrate with her. I wanted to be the man I was supposed to be. But, maybe I was. Maybe the man I was supposed to be could do both. I was sure as fuck going to try. There was nothing I could do to properly portray how much I would miss her smile in my life every day. She’d never understand how much I would worry about her. I tried to tell her. I tried to show her—in some of the dirtiest ways possible—that I wasn’t going anywhere. That she was mine. I was hers. War wouldn’t tear us apart. We wouldn’t be one of those statistics. Plus, the Air Force would be in and out of this conflict in no time.   The problem with my plan was that we weren’t in and out of the conflict in no time. When I enlisted, I knew there was a chance I’d go to war. I didn’t think it was likely, but I realized it was a possibility. I wasn’t a fucking moron. I also knew there was a chance I could very well die serving my country. That was a sacrifice I decided I was willing to make without consulting with my new wife. I never asked her how she felt about it. Later, I would learn to regret never asking her opinion. She might’ve told me how much she’d hurt without me. My little copilot, having to pilot life on her own. She always did a fine job, but I know now that she always wished I was there to keep her on course.   But when I’m honest with myself? I would’ve chosen the same anyway. Saving lives? That’s a feeling I’m unable to describe. Saving kids, being the one to save my brothers and sisters at war, knowing I could save the life of an innocent civilian? That’s what I was supposed to be. That was what I was always supposed to be, even before I knew it. I just hoped I didn’t lose the only woman I would ever love over my need to do something for the greater good. It had been nice stateside, pretending war wasn’t looming in the background. I never thought it would actually happen, not to an extent where I would need to be deployed. Wars were a thing of the past, right? But, when terrorists attacked Americans on United States soil, it was only a matter of time before we got called to serve. That whole thing happened rather quickly. I went from being a pretty carefree, happily married young man, the man that loved coming home to my wife every night and fucking her in ways that only I knew how. I equally loved holding her hand during a movie night on the couch or having her crawl into my lap and go to sleep as I played video games. Life was easy. It was good. Life was unreal.   But life got real. Shit got real. Shit got real in a real big fucking hurry.   The day before my deployment snuck up on me, and before I knew it, I was facing months without my girl. I knew we’d be okay. We’d made it through plenty of long distance periods. But each one hurt just as much as the first time, and as time went on, each one hurt as bad as the worst times. I was better at hiding it than she was. She was so free with her emotions. I had always been pretty open with my emotions around her, too. But the closer deployment came, the more I began to try to turn a lot of my emotions off. I knew my training, while it was the best around, was nothing compared to the wounds I’d be seeing. I knew learning to close a body bag would be nothing like actually doing it with a lifeless body inside of it. I knew what war did to my friends who had been and come back. I thought if I started to shut down before I left, I would definitely be okay. The problem with that plan?   My beautiful, emotional, Maddie.

My Review

I was excited to get back to Willow Fork.  Except I have to tell you something. I did keep reading that wrong throughout this book. HAHA!  I LOVED how this book started and I soon found myself unable to put this book down. Julian was an enigma. I was excited to get his story! He liked everything neat, in its place and under his thumb. Danielle definitely didn't fall into that category. She turned his life upside-down and gave him a run for his money! Not to mention her best friend, Finn. Julian find himself in a unique position and finds something he was missing in his life. I loved the twists and turns this book had. I found myself unable to put this book down! I love the push and pull these characters had and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop. I was sucked into their journey from the very first page and I wasn't ready to walk away after The End.

“What on earth is that look for?” Julian stared down at her, his lips pulled up in obvious amusement. Finn leaned over so he could be heard over the loud music. “I think Dani is enjoying her role as town harlot.”
Julian frowned. “Harlot? Why would she be a harlot?”
Dani and Finn laughed together. For the first time, they completely understood something Julian didn’t.
“This is a small town, Sir,” Finn explained. “All anyone is going to talk about tomorrow is the fact that Dani Bay snuck up the stairs at The Barn with two guys. Trust me, she is going to be called all kinds of names. Mostly to her back, though.”
She shrugged. It was to be expected. At least no one would be feeling sorry for her.
Julian’s face went dark, and his fingers tightened around hers. “They had better not say anything where I can hear it.” He relaxed and nodded down at her. “I’m going to speak with Jackson, dear. You and Finn stay together. We’ll be leaving shortly. We’ll retrieve Finn’s things and go back out to the ranch.”
He turned and walked off, supremely confident that his orders would be met.
He turned back suddenly. “And stay out of trouble.”
Dani grinned. He didn’t look so confident that she would follow that edict. He walked away. She watched his gorgeous ass as it disappeared into the crowd. When she turned, she noticed that Finn was watching, too.
“I’m sorry.” Finn pulled back slightly, his hand coming out of hers. That look was back in his eyes. “Are you going to be an asshole?” she asked.
“What?”
“I thought we worked through this, but it looks like you’re going to be an asshole.” She wasn’t putting up with it. Maybe she would have before but being with them had changed her.
Being with Julian and Finn together seemed to have altered something fundamental in Dani. It had been beautiful. She’d never felt as deeply as she did when they were kissing her, loving her. There had been that terrible moment when she was sure Julian was leaving, but he’d stayed. He had to care about her. He cared, and Finn cared. She wasn’t going to let anyone take that away from her or make her feel ashamed. That was hers.
Finn stared almost blankly and then shook his head. “I’m sorry. I spent so long trying to hide this from you.”
“Hide what? That I knew you were gay? I was well aware of that. Why did you get upset because I caught you drooling over Julian’s ass?”
His eyes slid down. “Damn it, Dani. This is why I stayed away. I knew it should be only the two of us, but I wasn’t sure I could do it. I’m not sure I can stay away from men.”
Julian was shaking his head at Jack, who seemed to be teasing him something fierce. Dani stared at him for a moment. She noticed she wasn’t the only one. All around her, other women had their eyes on the hot new guy. They could look, but Julian was hers. He might not know it, but she planned on keeping him. And Finn. As soon as they ironed out a few things.
“And it never occurred to you to say, hey, Dani, here’s the problem. Let’s see if we can solve it? No, you decide to keep your mouth shut and almost let me marry someone I didn’t love because you didn’t want to admit you’re bi.”
“Damn it, I didn’t want to lose you. I love you, Danielle. You’re the only thing in my life that’s permanent. I would rather keep you in my life than lose you because I can’t be normal. It should be two people. A marriage should be two people.”
Oh, yes, she had to fix his way of thinking. “Says who? The old biddies at church? Screw them. Why does everything have to be one way? What we did up there didn’t hurt anyone. It isn’t anyone’s business but ours. I love you, Finn, but I think I’m falling for Julian, too. Can you handle that?”
“I can certainly try, baby. I was willing to love you from afar. I prefer loving you up close.”

A HORRIFIC RECURRING NIGHTMARE IS THREATENING TO STEAL HER SANITY…

Dr. Corinne Cabot is living the American dream. She’s a successful ER physician in Chicago who’s married to a handsome husband. Together they live in a charming house in the suburbs. But appearances can be deceiving—and what no one can see is Corinne’s dark past. Troubling gaps in her memory mean she recalls little about a haunting event in her life years ago that changed everything.

She remembers only being in the house the night two people were found murdered. Her father was there, too. Now her father is in prison; she hasn’t been in contact in years. Repressing that terrifying memory has caused Corinne moments of paranoia and panic. Sometimes she thinks she sees things that aren’t there, hears words that haven’t been spoken. Or have they? She fears she may be losing her mind, unable to determine what’s real and what’s not.

So when she senses her husband’s growing distance, she thinks she’s imagining things. She writes her suspicions off to fatigue, overwork, anything to explain what she can’t accept—that her life really isn’t what it seems.

EXCERPT

Prologue-
My skin is sticky with blood.
My waistband is wet with it, and I can taste it on my lips. It’s splattered on my face, and it tastes like metal that has been rotting in the sun and rain for a hundred years. The night makes me shiver, the cool breeze rustling my hair, and for a split second, I’m back there in that house, standing in that blood. My bare toes feel the warmth of the liquid turn cool as the minutes tick past.
Goose bumps raise on my neck, and a knot that I can’t swallow is lodged in my throat. My feet are frozen frozen frozen on the ground, and I can’t move.
Their eyes are open and lifeless, although they stare at me.
They see me.
Yet they see nothing.
I can’t breathe.
My lips are ice, just like theirs.
My heart is pounding and racing and stuttering, and I can’t breathe I can’t breathe I can’t breathe.
“Corinne. You’re safe here. Corinne.
And just like that, I’m not there.
I’m here.
“There was blood all over me.” My words are stilted and fragile, like glass.
I stare at my hand, and even though it’s clean now, I see it as it was seventeen years ago, covered in the blood of two souls…souls that were living and that aren’t anymore. It’s hard to wrap my mind around. First they were breathing, and then they weren’t. It happened in a split second. I inhale shakily.
“Think about that moment,” the doctor instructs. “Who can you see?”
I think on that. “Melanie is next to me on the floor. Her head is bleeding into a pool. There is so much blood that it looks black.” I close my eyes, because it had been the first time I’d seen blood like that, and it terrified me. “Joe is on the bed. His blood is splattered all over the wall. Both of them have their eyes open.”
Staring at me.
The emotions welling up in me are like a wave, swelling, swelling, swelling…until I can’t handle it anymore. The horror and the guilt and the pain are just too much.
“I can’t do this,” I blurt out. “I’m done for the day.”
Dr. Phillips looks at me, and he’s calm and detached.
“Corinne, why are you here?”
I pause. What a stupid question. “You know why I’m here.”
I hate it when they treat me with such condescension.
“Humor me,” he tells me. “Why are you here?”
I grit my teeth and look away.
He waits.
“You’re saying that I tried to hurt myself. But I wouldn’t do that.”
I look at him now, and he’s so fucking emotionless. I look down at my left wrist, at the bandage covering up the stiches.
“I wouldn’t,” I insist again. “I’m a fucking physician. I wouldn’t have cut my wrist horizontally. If I really wanted to hurt myself, I would’ve known to cut vertically along the vein.”
I finger the gauze. Beneath it, the cut throbs, evidence of something I don’t remember doing.
“I’m not crazy,” I add. And I don’t know if I’m trying to convince Dr. Phillips, or myself.
“You’re not crazy.” He nods. “But you’ve experienced a mental break. You’re here because you need to deal with the causal underlying issue so that it won’t happen again. Right?”
He’s a fucking asshole.
I stare at the wall. At the whiteness, at the sterility.
“You need some plants in here,” I tell him, avoiding the question. “Greenery puts patients at ease. All this blankness…it’s maddening.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” he says wryly. “Corinne…”
I interrupt. “Dr. Cabot,” I tell him. “I’ve earned it.”
“Dr. Cabot,” he corrects himself. “You’re right. You’ve earned it. You worked a long time to finish medical school and your residency. You’re a top ER physician. You have a life envied by everyone around you. You’ve got to take care of yourself, so you can protect this life you’ve built.”
I close my eyes. Behind my eyelids, it’s dark and safe. It’s black and warm.
“Protect it from what?” I whisper.
“You tell me,” he answers. “You’ve got something inside of you that is triggered now, something that creates panic and a fight-or-flight response. We know what your father did so long ago. What we don’t know is why…or what damage it has caused in you, damage that seems to be affecting you now.”
“I don’t know either,” I say helplessly, my eyes opening to the white walls again. “I can’t remember. I never could. You know that.”
“I know.” Dr. Phillips nods again, and he tries to be so fucking comforting. “You have a history of dissociative behavior. You blocked out what your father did so long ago, and it stands to reason that your brain has developed that as a defense mechanism. It’s doing it again now. If we don’t get to the bottom of why your memories are being triggered now, after all of these years…you’ll never have peace. Do we agree on that?”
Reluctantly, I nod.
“So we have to start at the beginning. You have to stay here and focus.”
Anger flares in me, red and hot, and I stare him down. He doesn’t blink and neither do I.
“Focus?” I ask him, and my words are sharp and I wish they would cut him. “You think it’s as simple as sitting down and focusing? How dare you sit there and tell me what to do, when you have no idea what it’s like?”
I stand up to leave, but the psychiatrist’s next sentence holds me in my place, freezing me.
“Corinne, you promised Jude you’d try.”
Jude.
My beautiful, understanding Jude.
I swallow hard. I did promise. And I have to follow through, even though the pain it causes me is immeasurable. I owe it to him. I’ll do it for him. Not for this psychiatrist, but for Jude.
My body folds back into the seat, and I finger the medical bracelet circling my right wrist. Corinne Elizabeth Cabot, Female. It’s me, condensed into one stark sentence, yet I’m a stranger to myself right now. That’s why I’m here. I don’t know myself or my thoughts. My memories are foreign, blocked, nightmarish, out of control.
“Fine.” There’s nothing else I can say.
Dr. Phillips is quietly triumphant. “Let’s begin again. Take a deep breath and close your eyes.”
I do, drawing the cool air in a rush over my teeth, expanding my lungs and holding it, before I let it slowly exhale. I do it again, then again.
“Think back to that night, Dr. Cabot. Stand in that room. Tell me where your father is.”
I envision it, I see it in my mind like it was yesterday. My father in his bloody steel-toed boots. “He’s on the porch, waiting for the police to come.”
“He left you alone in the house with two dead bodies?”
“Yes.”
“He didn’t try to run?”
“No.”
“Okay. What did you do then?” my doctor asks me calmly, unfazed by the ugliness of my story.
“I was stunned. I think I was in shock. My hand was bleeding.”
Dr. Phillips looks at my hand, because I’m stroking the scar now, an unconscious nervous tic that I often do when I’m anxious. “What happened to your hand?”
“I don’t remember.”
“Is there a lot that you don’t remember from that night?”
“Yes. You know that.”
“Yes, I do,” he acknowledges. “So you’re standing in the middle of a bloody crime scene because your father left you alone. What did you do then, Corinne?”
“I looked out the window,” I tell him. “I was frozen. I couldn’t move. My feet felt like concrete and I was afraid if I moved, my heart would explode. So I took deep breaths. I watched the trick-or-treaters walking by. I looked at the blood on my shoe. I looked at the jack-o’-lanterns that were lit on porches, and the ghosts hanging in the trees. There was a full moon. There was light on my shoulders.”
“Anything else?”
“I stared at the street sign on the corner. All Hallows Lane.”
“That’s ironic,” the doctor points out needlessly.
“Yes.”
“How long did you stand there?” His question is quiet.
“Until they came and took me away.”

About MELT FOR YOU

A wallflower gets seduction tips from a playboy athlete—until love changes the rules.
Socially awkward Joellen Bixby has a date every Saturday—with her cat, a pint of ice cream, and fantasies of the way-too-handsome Michael Maddox. She’d give anything to win over the unattainable CEO of her firm, but how can she when she blends in so well with her cubicle? The answer may be closer than she thinks.
Cameron McGregor is a cocky, tattooed Scottish rugby captain who just moved in next door. He’s not Jo’s type—at all—but the notorious playboy is offering to teach the wallflower everything he knows about inspiring desire. Though a lot of women have rumpled Cam’s kilt, Jo is special. Far from the ugly duckling she thinks she is, in Cam’s eyes she’s sharp, funny, and effortlessly sexy. Now, thanks to him, Jo is blooming with confidence and has the man of her dreams within reach.

Kelly Elliott - Love Again review

Jonathon Turner is going to be the death of me. Maybe not the death of me…but my panties for sure! They seem to disintegrate the moment he touches me. Looks at me. Smiles at me. Talks to me. It’s more than physical. He’s breaking through an impenetrable wall. There’s a problem though—he’s younger than me. Six. Years. Younger. Let’s not forget he’s also one of my brother’s best friends. Oh, the other problem I forgot to mention… I never wanted to fall in love again. But you know what they say….never say never.

My Review

I have been anxiously awaiting Waylynn's story and I was quickly lost in her book. This book had all the feels! This is the 4th book in the series and you MUST start with Lost Love.  I enjoyed her relationships with her family and I wanted to see what really happened to her, as we've only seen glimpses. And I wasn't sure what she would be like.  My heart felt for her and all that she had been through.  Although Jonathon was younger than her, it wasn't as big of a deal as she made it. They fit together and I enjoyed watching their relationship evolve.  Even though she's the oldest of her siblings, her brothers take a protective stance. I enjoyed their family dynamics and while Waylynn is still licking her wounds, her family pushes her along and gives her the encouragement she needs.  However, there are things they don't know.  I love how realistic this book was and the emotions were intense. I loved that her family and Jonathon's family rally around them when needed.  I don't want to spoil this book for you, but I do highly recommend it! Be prepared to not be able to put this book down!

EXCERPT

“Do y’all know what you want to eat or should I give you a few minutes?”
When the waitress handed me the sample of wine, I downed it. She tried to hide her chuckle but failed. “Yep, it’s good. Now pour me a big glass.”
“I think we need a few minutes, Evie,” Jonathon said.
“Sure! No problem. I’ll leave you lovebirds alone.”
I choked on the wine as Evie spun walked to another table. Setting the glass down, I glared at Jonathon. “What in the hell was that?”
He shrugged. “Evie being hopeful, that’s all.”
“Hopeful of what?”
With a knock-my-panties-right-off-of-me smile, he replied, “Us.”
Leaning closer, I whispered, “You say that like we’re an item.”
He poured a glass of wine and held it up. “I hope by the end of dinner we are.”
My eyes closed. “You drive me insane, Turner.”
With a grunt, he put the wine glass down. “No, you drive me insane. It was your flirty little text that had me in my hotel room with my hand around my cock.”
A lady behind us cleared her throat.
“Shut up!” I whispered loudly.
Frustration bubbled inside every time I looked at him. Was sexual frustration what got him in that fight? A small part of me hoped it had been.
“You told your family about me?” I asked, changing the subject.
Jonathon half shrugged. “I might have mentioned you at a family dinner.”
“What did you say?”
A mischievous smile played across his face. “Well, I didn’t tell them I got caught fucking one of my clients.”
My stomach dropped. “Stop being crass,” I said before adding in a lower voice, “Save that shit for the bedroom.”
His brows rose. “You like the dirty talk, do you?”
It was my turn to shrug. “I don’t know. I’ve never experienced a man talking dirty to me in bed before.”
“Is that a challenge, Waylynn?”
Taking a sip of my wine, I replied, “Do you want it to be?”
He leaned forward, his eyes full of hope. “Do you want it to be? I think you already know how much I want you.”
My teeth dug into my lip as I let the corner of my mouth rise into a slight smile. “I mean, it would be a shame for me to have gone panty-less for nothing.”
Jonathon hooked my chair with his foot and pulled me closer. When his hand touched my leg, I let out a gasp. “A little jumpy there, babe?”
“Don’t call me babe.” I looked around the restaurant. Not a single person was looking in our direction. The long black tablecloth was hiding the fact that Jonathon’s fingers were moving up the inside of my thigh.
“Spread your legs open…babe.”

J. Kenner - Turn Me On review

I really enjoyed how this book started in the past.  It allowed the reader to see what had been happening leading up to the Man of the Month contest and how Amanda and Derek REALLY  met!  Their friends weren't aware they even knew each other.  They weren't interested in long term or commitment and they were both involved in their respective careers.  I enjoyed the chemistry these two had!  What started out as once a month, started worming its way into their everyday lives. They both had various career hurdles in their lives, but it was so much more than sex.  It snuck up on them and I loved their journey! This was a fast, unputdownable read for me.  Grab your copy now!

**ARC provided for my honest review**

Sometimes one night just isn’t enough.

Though they see each other only once a month, Amanda’s sweet body and wicked ways have been driving Derek wild for over a year.

And now that he’s moving to Austin, Derek is determined to have Amanda in his bed permanently.

There’s only one problem: Amanda’s happy with their current arrangement. Can Derek convince her a lifetime of nights together will be so much sweeter?

Meet Mr. July … he’s determined to heat things up.

Each book in the series is a STANDALONE novel with NO cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA!

And don’t miss Bar Bites: A Man of the Month Cookbook by J. Kenner and Suzanne M. Johnson, featuring recipes, slices of life, and an all new short story!
